William Hill created a superb sports broadcast facility to follow key sporting events and are leaders in the field of sporting commentaries, but its internet distribution did not match the standards of its production.
An improved live stream for 3 core services was required and TSC proved that its incumbent provider did not have the grasp of up to date streaming technologies we pride ourselves in.
What we do
We reviewed the streaming architecture and configured and installed our own encoding farm behind the corporate firewall so that streams could reach our streaming platform. The optimised streams were of a far higher quality, and just as importantly, using optimised encoding and platform delivery, we are able to deliver the commentaries quicker than it takes sending the broadcast to typical TVs.
